First lesson & consultation: Free

You can try your first lesson, which matches your level, free with consultation. Please tell me your requirements and I will design your lesson accordingly.

Type 1: KS3 (or KS2) - £35.00 per hour

This is the main course for complete beginners to someone with more knowledge. I will build up a good foundation for speaking, reading, listening and writing, which will lead to GCSE exam preparation.

For primary school students, I recommend them to start from Y5 or Y6.

Type 2: GCSE (KS4) exam preparation - £39.00 per hour

This is to prepare for the Pearson GCSE Japanese exam in the summer (either Foundation Tier or Higher Tier). For students who are not sure which tier exam they should take, I could evaluate the current level (GCSE 1-9) and give advice. You have no obligation to take any further lessons with me.

Type 3: Beyond GCSE level - £35.00 per hour

This is the course for students who want to learn further. With higher level grammar and vocabulary, more reading of Japanese stories and news articles, etc.

Type 4: Travel conversation and other requirements - £35.00 per hour

If you have a specific need such as travel conversation skills before going to Japan, improving speaking or reading stories in Japanese, I can meet your requirements.

★ If you require any SEN support, please let me know. We can figure out the best way to learn. Normally, there is no need to change the teaching method, however, small fees may be added when special measures are put into place.
